We are thrilled to announce that several of our products took home the blue ribbon at the 2023 World Dairy Expo! This contest is the only one of its kind in North America, evaluating thousands of dairy products from cheese to butter, milk, and of course, ice cream. This year, Stewart’s Shops earned a top three finish in five different categories, with three first place winners.
Our Eggnog won first place, beating out all other entries in the Open Class Flavored Milk category! With a nearly perfect score of 99.8, it’s no wonder our Eggnog is such a hit with our customers. Unlike most stores, Stewart’s Shops offers Eggnog year-round, and it’s the real deal. We make our Eggnog with our award winning fresh and local milk, and it’s pasteurized, not ultra-pasteurized, which helps keep that fresh, amazing flavor!
For the second time, our Mango Dragon Fruit Sherbet won first place in the Open Class Sherbet Category! Mango Dragon Fruit made its debut at our ice cream counter in 2020 and quickly became a fan favorite, earning a spot as a permanent half gallon flavor.
That’s not all! Our Death by Chocolate ice cream also came in first in its category! This creamy dark chocolate ice cream is chocked full of chocolate almonds, chocolate truffles, and chocolate flakes. You could say it killed the competition!
We also had multiple top three finishes at this year’s expo. Our Whole Milk, Vanilla Dairy Shake, and Strawberry Milk had excellent scores, placing in the top three in their respective categories. Our milk also took home top honors at the New York State Fair this year, where Stewart’s Shops was once again honored with the title of Best Milk and Flavored Milk in New York State!

From our award-winning milk to our delicious ice cream, We MOO (Make Our Own) for you! Our dairy products are made in our processing plant right in Greenfield Center, NY using milk from 20 local farms. The milk we use goes from farm to shop in under 48 hours!
