As the recipient of the Best Convenience Store Award from the Adirondack Daily Enterprise’s yearly, Best of the Mountains: Reader’s Choice Awards, Stewart’s is well known and well loved in the Adirondacks. With 25 Stewart’s Shops in the blue line, Stewart’s Shops are a destination and an essential part of life for both residents and tourists.
Lisa Bramen, a writer for Adirondack life, wrote, “In these parts, when you realize you’ve forgotten milk or run out of batteries at nine p.m., the only thing between you and a 40-minute drive is often a Stewart’s.”
Our newly rebuilt shop in Ausable Forks opened in June and we are so happy to celebrate with a grand opening! The new shop with its dark Adirondack siding and stonework fits in nicely with its Adirondack backdrop. The shop offers ample parking and seating and a better flow. It even has an iced coffee bar and a Beer Cave, now that’s something to get excited about!

Time: Ribbon Cutting at 11 am
All day specials include, 99¢ single scoop ice cream cones, free hot coffee/tea, 99¢ Stewart’s Shops sodas and Refreshers, 99¢ Make Your Own Hot Dogs, $2 off any whole 16” pizza pies), 10¢ off all gas, including diesel and more.
In honor of this event, we will make donations to the Ausable Forks Elementary School Backpack Program and the Ausable Forks Volunteer Fire Dept.
