One of the best benefits of working at Stewart’s Shops is that employees have plenty of opportunities to sample our ice cream flavors. Whether you’re a mint lover, prefer something fruity, or can’t live without chocolate or peanut butter, when you see someone eating ice cream, they usually have a smile on their face.
We reached out to a few of our 6,000-plus partners and asked them to share their go-to favorites and what makes them special.
Which ice cream flavors do Stewart’s employees like the best?
We figured we would start right at the top! Who better to kick off our staff favorites than Stewart’s Shops president Chad Kiesow?
“My favorite flavor has been constant ever since I was a kid… so let’s just say Black Raspberry has been my favorite flavor ‘forever’!”

After hearing from Chad, we turned to some of the team members who help our customers brighten their day by creating their favorite sundaes, cones and milkshakes.
Shop manager Tia H, pictured above with Stewart’s Shops president Chad Kiesow, is a big fan of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and her go-to item at the ice cream counter is a Peanut Butter Sundae. Did you know Stewart’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream is actually made with a cookie dough flavored base? It’s one of the reasons our customers (and employees) love it so much!
We also caught up with one of our district managers who works with shops in the Middletown region. She shared her favorite ice cream flavor and why it is so special to her.
“My favorite ice cream flavor is Fireworks! Fireworks has been my favorite since childhood! The Pop Rocks add a great element to my scoop and remind me of summer year-round!”

“My favorite Stewart’s flavor is Chocolate Caramel Tornado. I was so excited when it was made a permanent flavor. It’s such a good mix of flavors, and Stewart’s chocolate ice cream is literally award winning! Plus the honeycomb pieces in this flavor are so unique and fun!”

Another one of our marketing specialists picked Bark in the Dark ice cream as her favorite, a prepackaged pint of delicious dark chocolate ice cream loaded with caramel swirls and salty white chocolate pretzel bark.
