Stewart’s Shops works hard to strengthen the communities we are in and we are truly a part of your community.
Stewart’s Shops/Dake Family Foundation recently supported the Schenectady County Community College’s new Learning Commons. The donation was not only for the new space; half of the donation creates scholarships for students.
The space is now available for students, faculty, and community members to use.
The Learning Commons is a traditional library but reimagined and upgraded. The new space is designed to promote collaboration and imagination for the students. A café, private study and meeting rooms, the Stewart’s Shops/ Dake Family Foundation presentation room, and more, the Learning Commons is the new center of the campus.
