At Stewart’s Shops we are proud to be a part of the communities we serve.
A recent example of this is our connection with the Jesse T. Zoller Elementary school. We have been donating milk and eggs to their backpack program for years and have had a close relationship with the school.
This summer, the school was a benefactor of a $2,000 donation from our grand opening for a new shop in Schenectady. Rashad, the Shop Manager, had gone to Jesse T. Zoller many years ago! The social worker who was representing the school, Jean Bulger, worked with Rashad when he in school. Not only that but her husband, who is a teacher at the school, taught Rashad! This connection goes to show just how close we are to our communities.
