We have won Best Convenience Store by Adirondack Daily Enterprise’s yearly, Best of the Mountains: Reader’s Choice Awards! The Adirondack Daily Enterprise and Lake Placid News created this contest to honor the businesses and businesspeople that are the heartbeat of their communities.
This recognition is a testament to the loyalty and support of our wonderful Adirondack community.
If you live or have lived in upstate New York or Southern Vermont, you are familiar with Stewart’s Shops. In some areas, like the Adirondacks, there are limited places to get a quick bite to eat or to grocery shop. The Adirondack Park is approximately 6 million acres and within that, we have 25 Stewart’s Shops!
With the nearest grocery store 30 miles away in many parts of the Adirondacks, Stewart’s is a lifeline for essentials. We are there for all types of needs. To some, we are their Coffee Shop and Ice Cream Shop. For others, we are their Grocery Shop and Gas Station. You may notice that most of our Shops in the Adirondacks will have a larger grocery selection to make your life easier.
Many businesses may be open seasonally to coincide with the high-volume of traffic in certain seasons. But at Stewart’s Shops, we are always open; 365 days of the year.
