Calling all Stewart’s Fans, we need your help to win Best Place for a Frozen Treat in the Times Union’s 26th Annual Best of the Capital Region Contest!
Starting Monday, February 20th you can vote for Stewart’s Shops to be The Best Place for a Frozen Treat. Voting is conducted online at timesunion.com/bestof2023. Voting will run through Friday, March 3rd and you can vote once a day!
For 9 years in a row Stewart’s Shops has been named the Best Place to Get a Frozen Treat by the Albany Times Union! This is because we have so many options for a frozen treat. Try our milkshakes or enjoy a waffle cone. Get creative with a Make Your Own Sundae, which is a Stewart’s Shops creation. Choose a scoop of your favorite flavor and decorate with toppings like sprinkles, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce and more! For a more traditional sundae you can chose from our brownie sundae, hot fudge sundae or our banana split.
When you stop by the cone counter, make sure to pick up a Scoop Club card. With the Scoop Club card, you can buy ANY 10 items from our ice cream counter and get your 11th one FREE. Single scoop cones, hand-packed pints, milkshakes, hot fudge sundaes… it’s all included! Use the same card at all our locations. Get a punch with each purchase!
This is not the only time our ice cream has been put to the test. Stewart’s Shops had several winning ice cream flavors at the World Dairy Expo in 2022. Our Peanut Butter Pandemonium took first place, Mint Cookie Crumble took second, and Mango Dragon Fruit Sherbet and Salty Caramel Gelato took third place in their respective categories.
It’s no surprise that our award-winning ice cream is made with award-winning milk. Did you know? Stewart’s Shops has New York State’s Best Milk! We MOO (Make Our Own) for you, using fresh milk from local farms to make the delicious ice cream you know and love. Every day we pick up our milk from over 20 local dairy farms in Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Washington counties. That milk goes into our dairy products, foods made in the Stewart’s Kitchen and of course our delicious ice cream.
