Meet Susan, Susan has been working for Stewart’s for 9 years and has a position in food safety for the Albany District. She started working for Stewart’s part time when her family needed extra money for her daughters’ braces. Susan began as a weekend opener and only worked 8 hours a week to fit her schedule. Eventually she picked up more hours when her husband retired from his job and made Stewart’s her full-time career.
After 5 years she was approached by District Staff to be part of Food Safety and she’s been there ever since. What was supposed to be a short-term position for extra family income became a successful career that has allowed her flexibility with her home life.
