“Of course, I am always excited for the cold cones of creamy Stewart’s ice cream on a hot summer day, especially after a baseball game, with the kids still in their dusty uniforms. Naturally I couldn’t survive without my hot cup of Stewart’s blueberry coffee with cream (and a buttered hardroll) as I begin my morning commute. But when I think of the word “thankful”, it takes me back to Thanksgiving as a child. My dad would pick up a container of Stewart’s Eggnog and the season was ready to start! We would decorate the Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and sip on our cool, thick, delicious eggnog — all while laughing and listening to Christmas music on the radio.
My dad passed away ten years ago, before he got to meet my kids, his grandkids. But I keep these family memories alive and strong, each holiday season. It takes me back to those beloved days and allows me to make happy new memories for myself and my children. We can’t decorate the Christmas tree without having our Stewart’s Eggnog in the fridge, ready to go. Cue the Christmas music! We open the boxes of ornaments and lights and can feel the love and holiday spirit in the air. With each ornament we hang, and with each sweet festive sip, a core family memory is created. It’s a tradition we’ll continue for generations to come. So, I am thankful for Stewart’s Eggnog, as it’s one of the main ingredients to our start of the most wonderful time of the year.”
