The celebration of new shop construction continues! We recently opened 2 more shops in December 2020 and we are celebrating these new openings with some great deals on Friday 1/15/21!
That makes 348 shops and growing!
Sacandaga Rd. 571 Sacandaga Rd. Scotia, NY
This shop opened in December 2020 and is located in the town of Glenville, (which includes the village of Scotia). Glenville is home to 30,000 residents and is now as ‘A Town of Good Neighbors’. Stewart’s has also been referred to as a good neighbor, and we are so happy to bring Glenville a new Stewart’s Shop with all the bells and whistles including a brand new shop, expanded seating, diesel and a beer cave!
Fun Fact: This shop now sits on the exact site of the tavern where the first Glenville town board meeting was held in 1820.
The shop is celebrating their opening with food, drink and gas specials on Friday, 1/15/21. Patrons can also receive a free Daily Gazette newspaper with the purchase of any hot coffee Friday January 15th thru Sunday January 17th. To celebrate this new shop and be a good neighbor, Stewart’s is giving $1,500 in the form of milk and egg certificates to Scotia-Glenville Food Pantry.
Columbia Turnpike 1811 Columbia Turnpike Castleton, NY
This shop is brand new to the Stewart’s family, we acquired the land and old Sunoco station in the Polsinello asset acquisition in early 2020. We tore down the old shop and built a beautiful new Stewart’s Shop. This new shop will serve the growing business industry in Castleton including the brand new Amazon warehouse employees. The shop will feature all your Stewart’s favorites and will feature a Pepsi beverage bar, a beer cave and a hot chocolate machine!
To give back to the community and celebrate this brand new shop, we will give $1500 in milk and egg certificates to the Anchor Food Pantry.
Recap of 2020
2020 was a busy year for our construction team! We finished 2020 with 15 new to market shops and 10 completely rebuilt shops with the Red-Kap asset acquisition.
Construction Plans for 2021
Looking forward to 2021, we plan on opening 3 new shops and rebuilding 11 shops. We will begin rebranding acquired Red-Kap shops into Stewart’s Express locations this month.
