EV (Electric Vehicle) Charging – Charge Up!
Although the transition to a full EV (Electric Vehicles) society is a distant reality, we are preparing for the change by equipping our shops with EV chargers.

Solar Panels Are a Shining Success
Solar allows us to engage in cleaner energy solutions.
This strategy is especially effective as our plant’s peak demand is when solar output is at its greatest, resolving power distribution problems of the grid.

Recycling, Reusing and Reducing Waste
We’re minimizing our carbon footprint and sharing with the environment in multiple ways!
• To avoid waste, we use reusable plastic containers including totes, dairy cases, ice cream baskets and bread trays for deliveries to our 350+ shops.
• We recycle 6 tons of cardboard each day.
• Our new shops feature energy-saving LED lighting and energy savings.
• Our 9 Vermont shops use hydroelectricity to offset their energy usage.
• Stewart’s recycles more than four and a half million pounds of cardboard, office paper, plastic, metal, and light bulbs annually.
