Holiday Match began on Thanksgiving Day and is going strong. Our customers are being as generous as ever, and because we care twice as much, we’re doubling your gifts! Every donation makes a difference, especially this year when non-profit organizations are facing unprecedented challenges. Despite having to cancel regular programming and events, we’ve seen many organizations rise to the occasion and find creative ways to keep their communities connected and involved!
One Holiday Match recipient from last year, The Unity Hall Foundation, is doing just that. Unity Hall is an amazing historic performing arts center in Barneveld, New York. For the past two years, Stewart’s Shops has provided Unity Hall with a Holiday Match grant to help fund their children’s programming. While Unity Hall originally planned to use their Holiday Match grant to provide an in-person children’s theater event, they’ve had to reimagine their plans. Now, our Holiday Match gift will help bring a free Virtual Puppet Show to children and their families! The show will be a fun, sing-along experience performed by the Mesner Puppet Theater, and can be enjoyed right from your home. The event will take place on Sunday, December 13th at 2PM, and is open to all, so feel free to tune in here!
Applications for Holiday Match will be open until January 31st. Non-profit 501c3 organizations benefiting children are eligible to receive funding. Applications can be found here. It’s easy to apply, just go online and fill out an application!
