It’s the holiday season and while we are proud to donate to organizations ALL year long, there’s something about December that makes giving even more special.
Stewart’s generous donations support hundreds of holiday celebrations across all New York and southern Vermont throughout the month of December.
Christmas in the Village put on by the Museum Village in Monroe, NY is one of the many holiday celebrations we support. The Museum Village has received Stewart’s support for their Christmas in the Village event since 2017.
The donation helps to support the Museum Village in hosting their Christmas In The Village event this season. Visitors can come see Santa by the fireplace, take a stroll down Candy Cane Lane, and enjoy music entertainment in The Playhouse. This is a FREE event to the public and they collect non-perishable food donations for the Country Kids Food Pantry.
The Museum Village is a living history museum preserving a vast collection of eclectic, 19th century artifacts for educational purposes. Using these artifacts and reproductions, they provide hands-on experiences and exhibits illustrating the transition from a rural to an industrial culture and economy in America provoking thought and discussion about history.
Stewart’s gives $7.5 million annually. $5 million of it comes from the Dake Family Foundations so it does not impact our Partners ESOP/Profit Sharing.
