Our Holiday Match program has been benefiting local children’s charities since its start in 1986. Last year we were able to allocate funding to over 1,800 organizations that are doing wonderful things for the children in their communities. In order to receive funding, we need your application!

Holiday Match Applications
Applications for Holiday Match close on January 31st. Non-profit 501c3 organizations benefiting children are able to apply for funds. Applications are reviewed, and allocations are made in March. Applications can be found here. It’s easy to apply, just go online and fill out an application!

Meet a Holiday Match Recipient
One of those recipients was Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks. Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization dedicated to helping children in economic or academic need reach their full potential through one-on-one mentoring relationships. Through the help of parents, guardians, and community volunteers, they are truly able to make a difference in each child’s life.

With the support of the funding from Holiday Match, Big Brothers Big Sisters is able to focus on bringing in volunteers to support their ever-growing programs. Volunteers, or “bigs”, are a crucial part of their organization. They are matched with a “little” and provide the influence of a caring adult, and work to provide fun cultural and social activities for the kids.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks has been a Holiday Match recipient for over a decade and are very grateful for the generous donations made by our customers throughout the holiday season. These donations go a long way in making sure Big Brothers Big Sisters can help kids, not only during the holidays, but year-round.
