Holiday Match FAQs

What is Stewart’s Holiday Match?
Holiday Match is a holiday collection program, matched by Stewart’s Shops, to help kids all year long. Together with our customers, we were able to raise more than $2 million in 2023 from Thanksgiving through Christmas Day. All that money helps local children’s charities. Stewart’s Holiday Match program has allocated nearly $38 million since the program’s inception in 1986.

Who can give?
Stewart’s matches all individual donations. We can collect donations from businesses or groups but are unable to match them.

Can I make a donation with a personal check?
Yes, please make your check payable to Stewart’s Holiday Match during the collection period of Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Day. You can place the check in our Holiday Match collection bucket at any Stewart’s Shops location or mail it to our corporate office
Attn: Donations Department, PO Box 435, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Can I get an application at my local Stewart’s Shop?
No. To ensure accuracy, we have conveniently offered an online application for submission. It’s simple, to the point, and should only take a few minutes to apply for funding.

Can I make a donation using my credit or debit card?
Our program is unique, with 100% of the funds going directly to charity without administrative fees. We will not accept donations via debit/credit cards because of this. You may write a check payable to Stewart’s Holiday Match during the collection period of Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Day if you wish. Every year the program grows with your donations of spare change.
