This marks the fifth consecutive year of first place awards in an annual dairy competition judged by Cornell University’s Department of Food Science.
Each year, Cornell University collects samples from dozens of local dairy producers. The milk samples are scored on various criteria, including best flavor as well as microbial analyses, fat determination, and freezing point. Stewart’s Shops has earned the gold medal based on this criteria for five years in a row! For Stewart’s customers, that means you’re bringing home award winning milk recognized as the best tasting and highest quality!

These awards are also evidence that Stewart’s refuses to trade quality for a longer shelf life. We use a traditional pasteurization process, while many competitors employ a high-heat, ultra-pasteurization process that cooks away flavor.
