We’re growing again! This time it’s not our shops that are growing, we’re expanding our Manufacturing & Distribution Plant in Saratoga Springs.
The expansion adds on a 54,000 square ft dry warehouse. The biggest ROI (return on investment) we will see from the expansion is the ability to increase the number of products we carry.
The new warehouse will provide more storage, 10 additional loading doors for our delivery trucks, a larger space for our returns operation, and more.
It was a large undertaking to add this much indoor space to the existing site. First, 60,000 cubic yards of earth were moved to bring the grade of the hill down 10 feet. This was the former site of the Stewart’s Shops employee picnic.
A million dollars worth of steel is assembled to create this three story building.
Take a look inside!
The steel racking cost as much as the steel to make the building and will hold all your favorite Stewart’s products that are delivered in full cases. These include beer, soda, chips, coffee, water, firewood, window wash, and more.
There are 5068 Pallet Spots. That would hold 10,300,000 bottles of beer! If you lined up all the spots it would stretch over one mile long.
The racking is an impressive 30 feet high!
