There were plenty of laughs, smiles, sticky fingers and ice cream headaches at the Stewart’s ice cream eating contest this year during the 2026 Saratoga County Fair in Ballston Spa, NY.
In the end it was Josh S., a 12 year old from Clifton Park, who won the youth competition, when he ate a pint of ice cream in 2 minutes and 57 seconds. He finished several spoonfuls ahead of his 11 competitors.
In the adult division, Logan V., 30 from Ballston Spa, won the competition for the second year in a row, eating a pint of ice cream in 1 minute and 15 seconds, nearly matching his winning time from last year.
This year’s ice cream eating contests attracted competitors from as far away as Abilene, Texas, Oklahoma and New Orleans.
There were plenty of chants and cheers from a busload of visitors from Camp Echo Lake in Warrensburg.
For their victories, Josh and Logan each won 52 pints of Stewart’s ice cream so they will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy their favorite flavors and, perhaps, practice for their next ice cream eating contest!
Stewart’s would like to thank our friends at the Saratoga County Fair for hosting the competition.
