When Mother Nature recently disrupted large portions of upstate New York with tornadoes and floods, Stewart’s Shops shipped generators to the hardest hit areas so we could stay open and pump gas, while giving the community an air-conditioned place to escape the heat.
Although we are best known as a convenient place to grab a coffee and a cone, during times of severe storms and power outages, we are becoming a port in the storm and one of the few options for communities to get basic necessities.
This is possible because of our trucks, our distribution system, our generators and our people. We are able to send extra delivery trucks and extra employees, who we call partners, into the communities that need us most.
“This is really about our partners and the community coming together,” said Stewart’s senior vice president Casey Kanclerz.
And it hasn’t even snowed yet!
Stewart’s is closer to you when you need us most.
