St. Peter’s Hospital was a recent Holiday Match recipient. They received $12,000 to support the renovation of their Labor and Delivery wing.
Their goal is to have a state-of-the-art birthing unit with a warm and healing atmosphere. This new unit will be complete with amenities, clinically advanced technology, and special services that will serve to compliment the incredibly caring spirit of our staff. St. Peter’s delivers approximately 3,000 babies annually.
The hospital stresses the importance of keeping new families together, maximizes bonding between families, and has specialized health care professionals for all the needs of patients. This donation will go specifically toward purchase of state-of-the-art birthing technology and monitors, as well as, cribs, Giraffe Incubator Care Stations, and other items to successfully care for newborns and their families. Since everything must be disassembled completely for routine cleaning and after each use, there is a lot of wear & tear on the equipment.
Our partnership with St. Peter’s dates back over 10 years. We have supported them through Holiday Match, donated to their capital campaigns and their other programs as needed. St. Peter’s strives to serve their communities and transform care delivery for their patients. They reinvest their resources back into their communities through new technology, health services, and access for everyone regardless of circumstance.

Customers raised $1,007,879 this year, and Stewart’s Shops matched it. The money raised stays in local communities and supports organizations centered around helping children.
