Giving Back to Our Communities

Stewart's Shops Gives Back

Just last week, Stewart’s Shops/Dake Family provided donations to 129 organizations totaling over $52,286! These donations were made in the form of product, gift certificates, and monetary support. Stewart’s Shops and related family foundations support local charities, donating $7.5 million annually.

Stewart’s Shops/Dake Family are proud to support the communities that we serve. Whether it’s a simple ice cream social or a monetary donation — we are proud to give back and make our communities stronger.

Stewart's Shops Donates to the Ticonderoga Teen Center
Teen Center-Ticonderoga

We are proud to highlight the Ticonderoga Teen Center, part of the Silver Bay YMCA. Because of the generous $30,000 donation from Stewart’s Shops/Dake Family this month, the Silver Bay YMCA is able to offer a Teen Center. The center is open to children in grades 6-12, six days per week, from Ticonderoga and the surrounding communities. Positively impacting lives, the children spend their afternoons and evenings at the Teen Center and take part in various activities and programs from basketball, to Leader’s Club, to homework, and more.

“The Dake Family and the Stewart’s Foundation are transforming the lives of young men and women through its alliance with the Silver Bay YMCA Teen Center-Ticonderoga. Their kind and generous support provides after school educational and recreational opportunities for our community’s teens with programs such as the YMCA Youth & Government, Healthy Meal, and Leadership Training to name a few. Moreover, their support provides a safe environment where a kid can be a kid and excel socially, educationally and physically. Silver Bay YMCA is honored to have the support of the Dake Family and the Stewart’s Foundation.” Nick Rama, Development Director, Silver Bay YMCA.
