For the eighth year in a row, Stewart’s Shops partnered with the American Red Cross of Eastern NY to treat Red Cross blood donors to free pints of ice cream as part of the “Give a Pint, Get a Pint” program. During the month of June, blood donors across Upstate New York received a certificate for a free pint of Stewart’s ice cream or gelato!
For those of you that donated, thank you. There are so many people in need of blood donations. Did you know? Someone needs blood every two seconds, and just one pint of blood can save three lives! These donations truly make a difference in so many people’s lives.
This year, there were more than 12,000 donors that presented to give blood throughout the Eastern New York Region. 1,000 people came in to give blood for the first time! These collections will be used to help treat around 26,000 patients in need!!
