Stewart’s Shops Supports the Hurley Heritage Society’s Scarecrows on Main Street Event!

Scarecrows at the Hurley Heritage Society

Halloween is almost here, and we could not be more excited. Despite the fact that Halloween may look a little different this year, we have truly enjoyed seeing the dedication our communities have shown at making it a fun and spook-tacular time for everyone!

Recently, Stewart’s supported one of these events put on by the Hurley Heritage Society. Although their annual community Ghost Walk was not able to take place, the Heritage Society came up with a creative and safe Halloween event. Community members participated in a scarecrow making event, creating their own masterpieces from scratch! Some of the scarecrows were even given historical costumes in honor of the Heritage Society. The scarecrows were then displayed on Main Street for the community to see, providing a fun Halloween activity to enjoy while walking through the town. Stewart’s Shops proudly supported this event by providing the Heritage Society with ice cream cone gift certificates, which were given to all of the children who participated in the event. No tricks, just a sweet ice cream treat!

Stewart’s Shops is proud to support this event and many others. This past week alone we were able to donate $32,005 to 50 organizations. Check out the listing below:
