How does Stewart’s Shops focus on sustainability year-round?
At select Stewart’s, we offer EV chargers for our customers with electric vehicles. We also use solar panels to help power our production plant and some of our shop locations. Additionally, we have our own geologists who inspect, regulate, and maintain our shop grounds and fuel tanks.
- EVs are more energy efficient and cost about 50-70% less to operate per mile than gasoline powered cars. Click here to view our shops that offer EV chargers.
- At Stewart’s Shops, we use our own panels and draw from solar community grids. This energy is converted into electricity and is used to offset the energy used at our plant as well as some of our shops!
- Before any construction takes place, Stewart’s geologists ensure all contaminants are removed from the soil to support the safe installation and proper regulation of fuel tanks. All gasoline storage tanks are then regularly checked and monitored.
