Meet our Altamont Shop Manager Carmen. The last 9 years of her Stewart’s career as a Partner have been filled with endless energy and positivity! When asked what her secret is, she says she makes a conscious decision every day to do better than the day before. Carmen says it’s the way Stewart’s supports and encourages Partners to be individuals and make their shops their own. Because of this, her shop atmosphere is always welcoming and fun no matter who walks through the door. That is so important to her because a positive attitude not only lifts herself up during the day, but it also affects customers who may not be having the best day. One nice interaction can turn that right around and now you’ve made someone’s day a little bit better. And she makes sure her Partners get in on the fun too! From creating fun t-shirts for fritter Friday, to decorating the shop for the holidays, Carmen wants each person in her shop to have a great experience. As a shop manager, it’s important that her fellow partners have a good time and feel appreciated. Carmen is the prime example of someone who truly enjoys her job and takes ownership in bettering those around her!
