Stewart’s Shops is Proud to Partner with Coffee with a Cop

Schenectady Police Dept at Stewart's Shops for Coffee with a Cop

National Coffee with a Cop Day grew out of the casual coffee conversations that started in 2011 in Southern California between local law enforcement and its residents. Today, small communities and their local police departments celebrate National Coffee with a Cop Day on October 2nd.

What is Coffee with a Cop?
Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity for residents to meet with their local neighborhood police at a safe community spot. It provides an opportunity for residents to have open conversations with their local police department about any concerns or address any questions they may have. These meetings usually involve coffee.

Since We Are Your Coffee Shop, Stewart’s Shops is naturally the perfect meeting spot for Coffee with a Cop. This is a program that we are proud to partner with, not just on National Coffee with a Cop Day, but throughout the entire year. We recently held a Coffee with a Cop event at our Schenectady shop on Broadway. The event was well attended and residents were grateful for the opportunity.

On National Coffee with a Cop Day, Tuesday, October 2nd, The Amsterdam Police Department will be meeting with the Amsterdam community at our shop on 183 East Main Street in Amsterdam, NY from 8 am to 10 am.
