Luke Kelly, an avid hiker and HUGE Stewart’s fan, prepared his whole life to reach the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. He traveled all the way to Tanzania from Red Hook, New York to make the climb of a lifetime. He celebrated at the summit showing off a Stewart’s t-shirt. (No, we don’t sell apparel, but this shirt looks really cool!)
Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and it’s the highest free-standing mountain in the world! Luke trained in the Adirondacks and Catskill mountains for this treacherous trip and he gave credit to Stewart’s for fueling his training with coffee & peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Here’s his tweet from the summit:
Brought a little #Upstate NY with me to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world.
Big thanks to @StewartsShops , whose 99 cent PB&J sandwiches—along with gallons of their delicious coffee—fueled my training leading up to this trip.
Congratulations Luke!
