What does a season admission pass provide?
A Saratoga season pass provides admission for all 40 days of the 2021 summer meet at Saratoga Race Course. Season passes do NOT include a reserved seat.
Do I need to be vaccinated to use a season pass?
Yes. Season passes are valid for vaccinated guests only. 2021 season pass holders are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon entry to Saratoga Race Course.
How do I prove that I’m vaccinated?
Upon entry at Saratoga, season pass holders must submit proof of vaccination by presenting their New York State Excelsior Pass or their CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card.
Do I have to be vaccinated to PURCHASE a season pass?
No, but you have to be fully vaccinated to use your season pass at Saratoga Race Course. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated by the CDC/New York State 14 days or more after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or 14 days or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson / Janssen).
Why am I required to be vaccinated to use a season pass?
Based on current New York State guidelines for large outdoor sports and entertainment venues, NYRA is required to designate most sections for vaccinated fans only in order to re-open Saratoga Race Course at near full capacity, including the popular Saratoga backyard. At this time, only fully vaccinated sections may operate at full capacity without social distancing measures in place. These guidelines are subject to change.
How much are season admission passes?
Season passes are $50 for grandstand. They are available by cash purchase only.
What about Clubhouse season admission passes?
Stewart’s Shops is only selling Grandstand season passes this year for $50. If you would like to purchase a Clubhouse season pass, you can do so directly through NYRA.com or you can scan the QR code on our signage which will take you directly to NYRA.com for purchase.
What is the difference between a Grandstand and Clubhouse Season Pass?
A Grandstand pass will provide you with access to the Saratoga backyard and to all areas within the Grandstand, including the Fourstardave Sports Bar and The Stretch. A Clubhouse season pass is required for access to the primary dining areas and to the Clubhouse section of Saratoga Race Course.
How many fans will be allowed at Saratoga this season?
Saratoga Race Course will re-open to fans at near full capacity for the 2021 season.
Why can’t I use a debit or credit card to purchase my season pass?
Season passes are available for purchase by cash only.
Does a season pass include a reserved seat at Saratoga Race Course?
No. A season pass includes admission to Saratoga Race Course for all 40 days of the racing season, but does not include a reserved seat. Reserved seats may be purchased separately through Ticketmaster.com.
Any special combo deals for purchasing a season pass and NYRA Bets Gift Card?
YES. Fans who purchase both a season pass and NYRA Bets Gift Card at the same time will save $5 on their Grandstand Season Pass exclusively at Stewart’s Shops.
Can I buy a NYRA Bets Gift Card today and come back later to purchase my season pass and still save $5?
No. You must purchase both the NYRA Bets Gift Card and the season pass during the same transaction to save $5 on your season pass.
How much are NYRA Bets Gift Cards?
A NYRA Bets Gift Card is $50. A Grandstand Season Pass is $50. You will save $5 on your season pass if you purchase both at the same time.
When is the 2021 Saratoga Race Course season?
The 2021 season at Saratoga Race Course begins Thursday, July 15 and runs through Labor Day, Monday.
Are any racing days excluded from the season admission pass?
Admission for ALL racing days is included with purchase of a season pass, INCLUDING TRAVERS.
Is the Season Pass valid for all of the big racing days?
YES. The Season Pass is valid for admission on Travers Day, Whitney Day, Alabama Day, Opening Day and every day of the season.
How long will 2021 Saratoga season passes be available at Stewart’s?
Season passes will be available at participating Stewart’s Shops through July 18.
Is Stewart’s Shops the only place I can buy a season pass?
No. Saratoga season passes are also available for purchase at www.NYRA.com or in person at the Saratoga Race Course Box Office when the Box Office opens for the season the second week of July.
What is the single-day admission price at Saratoga Race Course?
Grandstand admission is $7 and Clubhouse admission is $10 daily. Admission prices are different for Travers Day which is Saturday, August 28.
Do I receive my season pass today if I purchase one here?
No. You receive a voucher redeemable for your season pass. Season pass purchasers may redeem their voucher at NYRA.com/seasonpass. All passes will be available by digital download only. Printed versions or hard copies of season passes will not be available during the 2021 meet.
Last time I purchased a season pass I received a hard copy. Why not this year?

Are season admission passes transferable?
No. Season passes will not admit anyone other than the named and identified holder of the season pass.
What if I lose my voucher?
All vouchers are the responsibility of the purchaser and are non-replaceable if lost or stolen.
Can I return my season pass if I change my mind?
No. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges on vouchers purchased.
