It isn’t every day that you see a former Rite Aid converted into a Stewart’s Shop. This particular Rite Aid was formerly an Eckerd and those stores were built even larger than a typical drug store. Now that’s a lot of space for a Stewart’s Shop.
You may be asking, what are they going to do with ALL that space?
All 13,000 square feet of this building will be the new home to our brand new Malone Stewart’s Shop, our District Office, maintenance storage, and future retail rental units.
This new shop is now open. To celebrate this shop, we will host a grand opening celebration on Friday, May 21st with food and beverage specials all day, including 10 cents off fuel. The formal ribbon cutting with local dignitaries will be held at 11 am.
In honor of this event, we will donate $2,000 to The Greater Malone YMCA for support of the Financial Assistance Program.
So far this year we have completed rebuilds in Lake Luzerne, Esperance, and Northline Road in Ballston Spa and Malone with three more shops slated to open in June. If all goes as scheduled, we will have 14 replacement shops and 1 brand new Stewart’s Shop in 2021.
