Friday, November 11th is Veterans Day. Stewart’s Shops is a proud supporter of veteran organizations. Each week leading up to Veterans Day, we will highlight a different veteran organization that we have supported in the past. Stewart’s Shops has supported over 140 Veteran Organizations just this year!
The veteran organization spotlight of the week is The Saratoga Veterans Chorus. The chorus was founded in 2018. The Chorus seeks to introduce male and female veterans of America’s Armed Forces to the joy of a cappella singing in a relaxed environment. The chorus is run by the Saratoga County Veterans Peer to Peer Mentoring Program. This program pairs established veterans who are experiencing posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or other re-acclimation challenges. Personalized and informal, these pairings yield relationships intended to ease the transition from combat to civilian life.
