Great news! We have over $2 million in Holiday Match grants to give to nonprofits in need! Last year we were able to help over 1,700 nonprofits. Thank you to our generous customers, hardworking Partners and generous media support.
Holiday Match applications are being accepted until January 31st. This year’s Holiday Match program was one of the most successful ones. Customers donated over $1 million for only the second time in Holiday Match history. With the Stewart’s match that’s over $2 million going towards nonprofit charities benefitting children. All the funds will support local organizations in our communities. Organizations are encouraged to apply until January 31st, online at stewartsshops.com/holiday-match

We are proud to highlight some of last year’s Holiday Match recipients. Next up is, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Schenectady.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Schenectady and Stewart’s Shops have partnered for 20 years through our Holiday Match program. The funds received by the club from Holiday Match help support their summer camp program. Each summer at Camp Lovejoy in the Helderberg Mountains, members of the club can get a traditional summer camp experience.
This program takes over 200 young kids up to the mountains daily. Campers get breakfast, lunch and snacks each day and free transportation up to camp. Kids get the opportunity to learn how to swim, explore nature on the hiking trails, swing through the adventure rope course, and more!
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Schenectady help over 12,000 kids each year through their programs. The club provides a safe place to learn and grow, fosters ongoing relationships with caring, adults professionals, and teaches lifelong skills and character development experiences.
The mission of the club is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Membership to the club ranges from $5- $10 with numerous scholarships given out each year.
