Stewart’s Shops Celebrates National Coffee with A Cop Day

Stewart’s Shops teamed up with over 40 local police departments on Wednesday October 2nd for National Coffee with a Cop Day.

This event is a great way to give Stewart’s customers an opportunity to connect with their local law enforcement and talk about their concerns. Stewart’s provided free coffee certificates to participating police agencies to give to customers and encourage community engagement.

Because We Are Your Coffee Shop, Stewart’s is the perfect place to bring people together. Stewart’s Shops has been a proud partner of this program, not just on National Coffee with a Cop Day, but year-round!

“Stewart’s is a place that we can come together as a community and have a meeting place to talk about issues, a lot of things people want to talk about and then actually discuss those so we can make improvements,” said Dan Webster from Albany Police Department.

Bethlehem Detective Michael Berben sees the event as a great tool to help our communities build relationships with our local law enforcement.

“Coffee is the perfect communication starter,” Berben said. “Hot coffee gets you ready to go. It’s a dialogue for communication.”
