The 2022-2023 Holiday Match program raised over $2 million for local charities benefiting children! From Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Day, Stewart’s customers generously donated over $1 million to the program. Each individual donation is matched penny for penny by Stewart’s Shops. There are no administrative costs and 100% of the funds benefit local, charities benefiting children. Last year, 1,939 nonprofits benefited from the program.

Holiday Match helps fund all types of programs that support the kids in our communities, and the impact is felt throughout the year, something that makes the program so special.

One organization that received funding was Victoria Acres. Victoria Acre’s was founded in 2012 by Erin Pashley, the organization’s Executive Director. Their mission is to promote empowerment, encouragement, and education through equine assisted therapies. Their programs cater to a wide range of individuals. If you’re a veteran with PTSD or someone with a disability, there’s a program for you at Victoria Acres.

Victoria Acres offers five main programs, you can review here. In addition to these wonderful programs Holiday Match funds were used to provide Therapeutic Riding Classes to empower individuals with disabilities in the Schenectady City School District and The Wildwood Program, as part of a partnership between Victoria Acres and these groups.

The individuals in these programs at Victoria Acres gain the confidence they need to succeed. Through equine assisted therapies people can heal and achieve their goals. There are countless examples of success stories through Victoria Acres.

Impactful organizations like Victoria Acres rely on generous donors for support throughout the year.
