Celebrate National Milk Day with The Best!

National Milk Day. Two Dairy Princesses and a splash of milk

January 11 is National Milk Day and we’re excited to celebrate it with royalty. That’s right, we have two dairy princesses from Oneida County here to tell us the history of National Milk Day and remind us of the nutritional qualities milk has to offer.

At Stewart’s Shops, we offer fresh milk from local family farms. Stewart’s Shops milk and chocolate milk have been named the BEST in New York State, by Cornell University Department of Food Science.

Meet the princesses:

Alyssa Buck is a 17 year old senior at Westmoreland High School. She is the daughter of Amy Jo and Ronnie Buck. She has participated in  4H Animal science, 4H Equine advisory and CNY roller derby. She has been part of Oneida County Dairy Promotion for 2 years.

Tamar Mooney is a 18 year old graduate from Holland Patent High School. She is the daughter of Toni Mooney and Ronnie Buck. She has participated in 4H, cheerleading, and CNY roller derby. She has been part of Oneida County Dairy Promotion for 2 years.

These sisters got involved in dairy promotion together, as princesses and alternates supporting each other. They have found a passion for promoting our dairy community.
