The 10 Gallon Challenge!

Support dairy farmers and help those in need!

Secretary Sheila Harsdorf of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) challenged Commissioner Richard Ball of NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets to take the #10GallonChallenge: donate 10 gallons of fresh, nutritious milk to a local food pantry.

#GivingTuesday was the perfect day to accept. Commissioner Ball visited Stewart’s Shops to pick up 10 gallons of NYS Grown & Certified milk to donate to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.

If you want to participate as well, call your local food pantry and see if they accept refrigerated items, like our delicious milk.

When you come in to pick up your 10 gallons, use your Milk Club Card to get an eleventh gallon of milk for FREE! Donate the 11th gallon or take it home for yourself. Participating in the challenge supports dairy farmers, families in need, and your local food pantry.
