Who are the Adirondack Thunder?
The Adirondack Thunder are the Capital Region’s only professional hockey team. They are in the ECHL and a proud affiliate of the New Jersey Devils. The hockey team plays all home games at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls, NY.
Who plays for the Thunder?
The NHL stars of tomorrow play for the Thunder and in the ECHL. Many of these players will advance to the American Hockey League and then on to the National Hockey League. So it is very possible for you to see a future player for the New Jersey Devils when you attend an Adirondack Thunder home game – as well as future stars for other NHL squads whose ECHL teams will travel to Glens Falls to compete against the Thunder.
What does a $20 Adirondack Thunder voucher provide?
A $20 Adirondack Thunder ticket voucher provides admission to any home game and also includes a free popcorn and soda. The ticket voucher is redeemable prior to any home game at the Cool Insuring Arena Box Office, while supplies last.
Can I redeem the voucher for any seat location?
Each Stewart’s ticket voucher can be redeemed for any available Silver Section seats.
Where is the Silver Section?
The Silver Section includes all seats at Cool Insuring Arena outside of Center Ice. You can view the seating chart online here.
Can I redeem the voucher online?
No. Vouchers must be redeemed in-person at the Cool Insuring Arena Box Office in Glens Falls.
Does this guarantee a seat at any home game?
No. The ticket voucher is redeemable at the Box Office on a first-come, first-served basis so if a game is sold out the voucher would need to be used for an alternate home game.
Does the ticket voucher expire?
No. The ticket voucher is valid for any home game during the 2021-22 hockey season.
Do I have to use the voucher right away?
No. The voucher isn’t date specific so it provides the flexibility for you to use it for any home game throughout the hockey season, while supplies last.
When is the Adirondack Thunder hockey season?
The 2021-22 Adirondack Thunder hockey season at Cool Insuring Arena begins Saturday, October 23 and runs through Sunday, April 17.
How many games does the team play?
The Thunder play 36 games at home during the regular season.
Where is Cool Insuring Arena? Where is the Box Office?
Cool Insuring Arena is located at 1 Civic Center Plaza in Glens Falls, NY. The Box Office is conveniently located adjacent to the primary entrance at Cool Insuring Arena.
Do I need to be vaccinated to purchase or use a voucher?
No. The ticket vouchers will be available for purchase and use by both vaccinated and non-vaccinated fans.
Are there any specific protocols for non-vaccinated fans?
Currently, non-vaccinated fans are required to wear masks.
Are there any capacity restrictions for fans at Cool Insuring Arena this season?
No. The Thunder will host fans at 100 percent capacity which equates to up to 5,000 fans per home game.
Why can’t I use a debit or credit card to purchase ticket vouchers?
The Adirondack Thunder ticket vouchers are available for purchase by cash only.
How long will Adirondack Thunder ticket vouchers be available at Stewart’s?
Ticket vouchers will be available at participating Stewart’s Shops through the end of the hockey season. The ticket vouchers are available at approximately 80 Stewart’s Shops in Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties.
What if I lose my ticket voucher?
All vouchers are the responsibility of the purchaser and are non-replaceable if lost or stolen.
Can I return my voucher if I change my mind or don’t use it?
No. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges on vouchers purchased.
