What is Stewart's Holiday Match?
Holiday Match is a holiday collection program, matched by Stewart's, to help kids all year long. Last year Stewart's, its media partners and customers gave $1.14 million. Since 1986 together we've raised over $12 million.
Who can give?
Stewart's matches individual donations via cash or checks (made out to Stewart's Holiday Match). We will collect donations from businesses or groups, but don't match them.
Who receives funding?
Local charities benefiting children under 18 (501c3) receive funding from Holiday Match. 100% goes to charity - there are no administrative costs.
When will you be notified of the status of your request?
Every application will receive notification upon allocation which will be around the end of March.
How can kids' charities get funding?
Simply fill out an application and send it in for review.
Where can I give or get an application?
At all Stewart's Shops or click here for a printable application.
Where do the monies go?
Funding goes back to local children's groups in 30 counties where our shops are located. Click here to view last year's recipients.
When can I make my donation?
We collect in our shops from Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Day.
When is the deadline for applications?
Charities send applications to the Stewart's Corporate Office postmarked by January 31, 2010.
How will I know if you received my application on time?
You need to mail your request certified return receipt if you would like notification. No phone calls please.
When do charities receive the money?
Funds are distributed in March 2010.
